An automated gate is a machine and it poses potential risks to children and adult alike. In recent years, there have been several deaths caused by dangerous gates along with countless serious injuries and near misses.

We strongly recommend that periodic servicing of your garage door by your Garage Door Group installer is undertaken, in addition to maintenance carried out by yourselves. Maintenance recommendations are included in this booklet, see also specific information supplied by the door manufacturer.
